Majestic King slot REVIEW
Majestic King ReviewMajestic King is an audiovisually impressive video slot from Spinomenal, and it plays out on 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 win ways. Both the base game and the bonus round come with randomly triggered stacked wilds and double symbols. There is also a multiplier collect bonus game to look forward to here, and this is a medium volatile safari-themed title with a 300x potential.
The african choirs in the soundtrack is perhaps the most spectacular thing about this original version of Majestic King. Don’t get us wrong, the features are quite entertaining in this title, but there are just not enough tigers in the tank. There is no roar under the hood here, and even the RTP is just at the average level. We much prefer the Majestic King Expanded Edition, where, among other things, all the math model mistakes have been corrected.

Majestic King Features
The mighty white lion is the wild symbol in this game, and it will step in for all regular symbols to help you form winning combos. There are 2 randomly triggered features to look out for here, and these are both announced in a major way that’s hard to miss.
Firstly, you have the Stacked Wild feature that gives you a bunch of stacked lion wilds randomly placed on the reels. You can also get “Only Double Symbols!” announced with a fat golden type, and this means that all symbols land as doubles that are worth twice as much. On regular spins you can also land the double version of symbols, mixed with the regular symbols.
The Multiplier bonus game is triggered when you land 3 bonus symbols anywhere on the reels. It takes you into a special reel set where only new bonus symbols or blanks will land. On the left-hand side you’ll see a multiplier meter that goes from 3x to 40x (with some numbers skipped in-between). The aim is to collect bonus symbols to climb up the multiplier meter.
Each bonus symbol you collect will also increase your total win, and you can land +1 symbols to get extra spins. You start with 5 spins in this bonus game, and the feature is over when you run out of spins. At the end of the feature your total win is boosted by your achieved multiplier.
You trigger the free spins bonus round by landing 3 game logo scatters anywhere in sight. You will then spin a wheel of fortune with 2 levels. The outer level gives you either 10, 15, 20, 30 or 40 free spins, while the inner level gives you 1 of the 4 animal symbols as the chosen double symbol for the bonus round.
Your spins will then play out as the base game does, but all instances of the chosen symbol will appear as double symbols whenever they land. You can also trigger the 2 base game features at random times during the free spins feature. The bonus round can be purchased for a reasonable price of only 38x your stake, but the bonus buy option is not available for UK players.
The 200 Spins Majestic King Experience
We got really lucky when we purchased the bonus round, as the wheel of fortune landed us the maximum of 40 free spins. Which animal that was chosen as the double symbol can be seen in the highlights video below. We triggered the 2 random features plenty of times also, and we were quite happy with our 200 spins test session.
First of all, Majestic King comes with a spectacular soundtrack, and some of the visual effects are also quite impressive. The math model however, is not all that impressive. The highest payout is 300x your stake, which is way too weak for a medium volatile title these days. This is too bad really, as it kind of ruins an otherwise strong and entertaining game.
You get plenty of action in the base game here, due to the 2 randomly triggered features, and you have both a bonus game and a free spins round to break up the grind. Why Spinomenal has decided to ruin it with a weak math model is hard to understand. The RTP of 96 % is average though, just to top off the already lousy potential. Clearly, Spinomenal realized their mistake, and made a far better sequel with the 6-reels Expanded version.
Random stacked wilds and double symbols
Bonus multiplier collect game
Free spins with chosen double symbol
Medium volatility and 300x max win potential

If you like Safari slots, we have exactly 150 of them in our catalog at the time of writing. The most popular by far is Mega Moolah, and you can pick and choose via the provided link. Below, we’ll introduce you to the 2 other versions of Majestic King slot.
Majestic King Expanded Edition - comes with a much improved math model compared to the original game. This is really how this game should have been to begin with, as both the RTP and the 2,000x potential has been restored to respectable levels. You also get 6 reels here, and the features are all the same.
Majestic King Christmas Edition - is worth trying for the comical value alone. Dressing up this game about african savannah animals in a christmas themed skin is just a ridiculously incongruous juxtaposition. The math model and the features are identical to the game at hand, and we think most players will prefer the Expanded Edition compared to this.
